You may have heard in local news or social media that the FDA released an update to the labels of popular oral flea/tick medications. The specific medications addressed in the update are Nexgard, Simparica, Credelio and Bravecto. Updates such as this are not uncommon by either the FDA or product manufacturers.

Due to the wide use of these products, we believe it is important to respond to our valued clients.

Our doctors carefully consider each patient’s medical history before making any recommendations. Nexgard has been one of our primary flea and tick control options for over 4 years, and after reviewing the FDA updates, we continue to have confidence in the safety and efficacy of this product.

If you have a specific concern, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team.
